The media's willing participation in attacking Sarah Palin and her family because they are concerned about her ability to spend ample amount of time with her children is a direct insult to military women, as well.
There are many young women at this moment in combat boots, hugging a rifle instead of their children. They, too, volunteered to serve their country. They, too, were called away from full time motherhood. They made the necessary arrangements for the care of their children, just as Sarah Palin has done and will continue to do as Vice President.
The liberals' mantra of "We support the troops, we just don't support their mission", is a stunning example of their hypocrisy in this situation. They are attacking women that don't stay home with their children full time, choosing instead to serve their country, so it looks like, at least where female soldiers are concerned, now they don't even support THEM in addition to not supporting their mission.
