We are trying to build traffic at Republican sites. Please pick two links and click on them, even if you don't read them. Any two. We don't care. We can't build traffic unless readers come every day. The best time to come is when you open your email. Ask your children to do it too. Think of it as a daily chance to vote for Republican ideas and ideals. If you are concerned about finding negative stuff about Republicans, you needn't be.

The Daily Blogster Recent History and General Patraeus - by Yon is a synopsis of his experience in the GWOT since 9-11 and is well worth the read. It also is a great explanation to new readers as to WHY he was compelled to write about the war.

Comments: Note that we have dropped our regular message, hopefully not to return.
In the bubble bursting department, we got a good laugh this afternoon when an El Paso Republican called to inform us that he had been asked if he was the "power behind" this site. After we stopped laughing, we commented that we were surprised that he still speaks to us. But, he does.
Our warm and fuzzy moment came when we found out that the El Paso Republican Headquarters has recently added Ronald Reagan's 11th commandment to its decor.
Someone pointed out that there is a need for a lot apologies on our part, and we are giving some serious thought to how we can go about that. Mostly, we are going to apologize for being a naive Republican. We expect that we can burst a few bubbles in the process. It should be fun, at least for us.
How about apologizing to the two individuals you wrongly accused of running a blog? Or the folks you threatened via email? How about reigning in your self-righteousness and realize you are a newbie who is now playing in the major leagues; stop threatening fellow republicans, understand that your missives have consequences, get a clue that you have no right to cast stones or pass judgement. You don't know these people you are attacking and you clearly have no clue how the blogshpere really works. That would be a start.
